Now, roughly fifty years after the last U.S. troops left Vietnam, only thirty percent of those brave veterans are still alive. It is time to remind the public of their sacrifices and their challenges when coming home. While we do not celebrate that war, those who fought still deserve our continued attention and respect. This compelling and moving program presents seven Vietnam vets--some with physical and/or emotional wounds; all from the Bay Area--and their stories of rebuilding their lives, families and careers. In the end, the program recognizes their resilience and post-military accomplishments.
