THE LONG GOODBYE, A CAREGIVER’S JOURNEY
A devoted daughter tends to her aging father, offering affectionate support as he grapples with the challenges of living with dementia. The Alzheimer’s Association has reported that the high incidence of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia is worrying, as it may result in one out of three seniors in the US dying from these conditions. It’s worth noting that eldercare was recognized as a basic human rights issue by the United Nations as early as 1982.
